Our Story

Aadhar Gyan Dhatri Samiti is a Bhopal-based NGO founded in 2004. It has excelled in positive mental health and well-being, disability intervention, career counselling and psychological counselling, empowerment and sustainability in the underprivileged sector, for the last 20 years.

    Child Development

    Early Intervention for Disability

    Empower children with moderate to severe disabilities and their parents belonging to low socio-economic background (BPL) to become self-reliant through customized individual therapies through specialized therapists, educators and health care professionals. The disabilities addressed are:

    • I) Mental retardation
    • II) Cerebral Palsy
    • III) Down’s Syndrome
    • IV) Autism
    • V) Multiple Disability

    School Readiness Program

    Enabling Special Needs Children to seamlessly transfer into Mainstream Schools

    The School readiness Program follows the main objective which is to work inclusively and holistically for everyone. This program is to enable children with mild developmental disabilities coming from low socio-economic background (BPL) to attend regular schools.

    School Plus Program

    School Plus program is designed to provide Specific Academic Assistance through remedial classes to underperformers and dropouts. This program is to enable children from low socio-economic background (BPL) and mild developmental disabilities. It aims to bridge the gap between current knowledge and the expected level of knowledge for students facing academic challenges.

    Career Guidance Program

    Career Exploration to make informed and mindful career choices

    Career Guidance is an innovative initiative and we primarily deliver it through our YouTube Channel. It uses Hindi as a primary means of connecting with a diverse population belonging to semi-urban and remote areas. This program focuses on the exploration of various career paths available in the myriad of options and aims to provide a valuable understanding of various careers-related options, all of which contribute to informed decision-making.
